高校生の時、電車に乗ろうと急いでいると、階段で足を踏み外してしまい転んでしまいました。
急いで電車に乗らなくてはいけない焦りとあまりの恥ずかしさにすぐに立ち上がり歩き出そうとしたところ、派手な格好の女の子2人に「血が出ているよ」とハンカチーフを渡されました。
2人は駅員さんにも声をかけてくれ、なかなか血の止まらない脚に駅員さんがハンカチーフで止血作業をおこなってくれました。思いがけない人の優しさと協力、そして1枚のハンカチーフで助けられた素敵な体験でした。

When I was in high school, in my haste to catch a train, I was running down the stairs and fell.
I was so embarrassed that I got up quickly and was about to keep walking in a hurry to catch the train when two flamboyantly dressed high school girls handed me a handkerchief saying "You're bleeding.”.
The two also approached the station attendant, who used a handkerchief to stop the bleeding on my leg. It was a wonderful experience of unexpected kindness and cooperation from people, and I was saved by a handkerchief.
