There was a couple who came in every year to buy handkerchiefs.They would have them embroidered with a symbol representing the year and the number of years they were married. This year was their 5 year wedding anniversary and they were worried because they hadn't had any big events to base the symbol on. I told them that wood is the symbol of 5 year wedding anniversaries and so they chose to have a tree symbol embroidered on this year's handkerchief.
