In Japan, holidays of the heart are celebrated a little differently from other countries. Valentine's Day (February 14th) is a day where women give chocolate to the important men in their lives. Then, men reciprocate their feelings with gifts on March 14th, a day known in Japan as 'White Day.' For years men have been visiting our stores to buy handkerchiefs for White Day as a way to show their love and appreciation.
or four years, one of our customers has come to buy handkerchiefs during the White Day season in return for Valentine's Day. Thanks to the handkerchief, he says the number of Valentine's Day presents he receives increases every year.
